Custom
Absolutely not! TravelSite.io was built from the ground up to be a fully functioning website on its own. It can stand alone or be integrated with your existing site as well, even with a subdomain of your main site domain (example: travel.yourdomain.com).
To make the most of the platform, it's helpful if you already have an audience that will find value in travel content, and will be inclined to do travel searches. You might already have an audience and not know it. Do you have any social media profiles with healthy followings? Do you have an email list, even for another vertical other than travel? These can be used to drive traffic to your TravelSite.io site.
The short answer is no. In the advertising world, there are commission-based payments (CPA) and click-based payments (CPC). The TravelSite.io platform has advertisers on both models. This means that you can make money even if your end-users don't end up making a booking. But it's key to make sure that you have a high-quality audience, as advertisers can drop their CPC bids if your traffic doesn't convert for them.
No. End-users won't make bookings on your TravelSite.io site, but on advertiser booking sites instead.
If you already have a website and want to add the TravelSite.io white-label to your existing site, this is possible. After you've setup and configured your TravelSite.io site, you can link to it from your existing site. You can add a "Flight Search" navigation element to your existing site, for example, that takes users to your TravelSite.io site to proceed with a flight search.
Yes we are! We support integration with Cookiebot to power the cookie consent requirements for GDPR and CCPA. Cookiebot has a free plan and paid plans for larger sites.
Yes! We've optimized all of the pages on a TravelSite.io white-label site to be optimized for on-page SEO best practices. Also, we offer full blogging functionality with categories and tags, so you can build out authority content and get ranked higher in Google SERPs. Every TravelSite.io site comes with a sitemap.xml document to submit to search engines for indexing.
The amount of money you will make is dependant on two main factors: 1) the volume of traffic your site has, and 2) the quality of that traffic. As a general rule, you should expect to have between 500 and 1000 visits per month of quality traffic to your TravelSite.io site. But if you have high-quality traffic that converts, this threshold could be lower.
You'll get paid 100% of the advertising revenue generated by your TravelSite.io site on a net 45 basis. That means within 45 days after the close of the month, you'll get paid. We prefer Paypal to make these payments to you. Please note that the subscription fee and any other feeds will be charged to your credit card and not taken from your payout.
The pageview limits are specific to your plan. This means that if your TravelSite.io site has more than those caps, we will charge an overage fee. The pricing for pageview overages is detailed in the Terms of Service.
Please note that the pageview caps are not pageviews we deliver to you, but rather the pageviews the end-users of your TravelSite.io site generate. You are responsible for creating the content on your site and for promoting it to generate traffic.
The Blog section of your TravelSite.io site does not come prepopulated with any content. You are responsible for producing all of the content in your Blog.
The Flights and Hotels pages do have some automated content, in the form of weekend travel deals with sample pricing. This content is automatically produced by the platform and you don't need to worry about updating it.
For the Pro and Business plans, Destination pages are part of the platform and do include automated content. This content is in the form of deals on flights and hotels for that destination.
The flight data is populated from the Skyscanner Flights API, and the hotel data is from the Kayak Hotels API.
